Who can use this?
- Viewing your Message Credits balance is available to all plans.
- Only Account Owners and Admins can top up, view detailed transaction history, and manage billing.
Message Credits are a prepaid wallet that funds your WhatsApp messaging — similar to a prepaid phone plan. When it’s empty, WhatsApp messages stop sending until you top up. For what actually gets charged and why, see How WhatsApp Message Pricing Works.
Checking your balance
Go to Settings → Billing → Message Credits to see your current balance and full transaction history.Topping up
- Go to Settings → Billing → Message Credits.
- Enter the amount you want to add and click Add Credits.
- Complete the payment.
- Recharge any amount from ₹100 / 2,000 per top-up.
- Payment is by the card on file for your subscription, or via Razorpay.
- 18% GST applies to INR top-ups.
- New accounts may start with free trial or onboarding credits already in the wallet.
What happens if your balance runs out
- If your balance is at zero or negative, you lose access to sending messages — including replying in conversations and running broadcasts — until you top up.
- A scheduled broadcast that doesn’t have enough balance to complete will not send, and shows a failed status rather than partially sending.
- Gallabox estimates the credits a new broadcast will use before you send it, so you can check your balance covers it in advance.
Low-balance notifications
Gallabox can notify your account’s Owners and Admins — in-app and by email — before your balance runs out, so a broadcast or conversation doesn’t fail mid-send. This isn’t on by default for every account; if you’d like proactive low-balance alerts turned on, ask support to enable it.Usage history
Message Credits transaction history covers Free conversations, business-initiated messages, and customer-initiated messages, and can be exported for up to the last 6 months at any time — useful for auditing spend by category or campaign. See Reduce Your WhatsApp Message Costs for how to use this to lower spend.FAQs
